All teams qualified for Masters Copenhagen 2022

Riot Games’ second Valorant LAN event of the year is nearly upon us.
While the rest of the regions in the VCT are still battling in their Stage 2 Challengers regional tournaments, Guild Esports and Fnatic from the EMEA region have emerged as the first teams to qualify forMasters Copenhagenin July.
Guild and Fnatic won their VCT EMEA Stage 2 Challengers playoffs upper bracket semifinals matches and advanced to the upper final. Since both teams have also secured a top-three finish in the tournament, they’re each guaranteed one of the three EMEA slots at Masters Copenhagen.
The 10 remaining slots remain vacant as the best teams around the world continue to duke it out to see which squads will be traveling to Denmark.

Fnatichave been on a tear throughout the entirety of Stage 2, first going undefeated in theVCT EMEA Stage 2 Challengers group stage, then besting Stage 1 championsFunPlus Phoenixin the upper bracket semifinals to qualify for their fourth Masters event.
Meanwhile, Guild Esports are set to make their international Valorant LAN debut, after defeating M3 Champions 2-0 in the upper bracket semifinals.
Over in North America, OpTic Gaming and XSET are the frontrunners to qualify in theVCT NA Stage 2 Challengers playoffs. They are set to face one another in the upper final, with the winner qualifying for Masters Copenhagen.
Brazilian contenders LOUD and Ninjas in Pyjamas lead the way in their region, after dominating their respective groups in the VCT Brazil Stage 2 Challengers group stage.
Elsewhere, KRU Esports from Latin America,DRX from Korea, and Zeta Division from Japan are the favorites to qualify from their regions, following perfect runs in their Stage 2 Challengers group stage.
Finally,Paper Rexcontinues to look strong in APAC, winning both their group stage matches in theVCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers playoffs.
Riot Games has yet to announce if the top squads that finish first in their respective Stage 2 Challengers regional tournaments will advance directly to the Masters Copenhagen playoffs, as they did atMasters Reykjavik.
That turned out to be a huge surprise during Stage 1 Challengers, where teams likeOpTic Gamingdidn’t know they were competing for a playoffs spot in Masters Reykjavik, while they were up againstThe Guardin the VCT NA Stage 1 Challengers playoffs grand final.
Stage 2 Masters will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital, from July 10 to 24, featuring 12 of the world’s best teams.
