All the qualified teams for VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers Main Event

The competition is heating up.

Aftertwo weeks of open qualifiers, the 12 qualified teams in the VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers Main Event have been locked in.

Eight teams made it through the two open qualifiers to earn their spots beside thetop four teamsfrom VCT NA Stage 1.

While favorites Sentinels came dangerously close to missing out on the rest of Stage 2, the last-minutereturn of Shane “Rawkus” Flahertyas head coach helped them reclaim the form they needed to go on aperfect 10-0 lower bracket runto qualify for the Main Event.

100 Thieves’ roster overhaulalso appears to have finally paid off. The team took four straight series in the second open qualifier, dropping only a single map to theNew York Fury.

VCT NA Stage 2 sees some new names make it to the group stage, in addition to the return of a few familiar faces.

Ghost Gaming has finally found some success, after coming up short throughout 2021. The addition of former Luminosity player Alex“aproto“Protopapas appears to have been the difference-maker, helping the team find wins over NY Fury, Complexity, and Knights in the second qualifier.

Elsewhere,FaZe Clanhas made a triumphant return to the big leagues of North American Valorant. The signing ofex-100 Thieves player Quan “dicey” Tran, alongside Rise duo Phat “supamen” Le and Kevin “POISED” Ngo, has helped Andrej “babybay” Francisty unlock a new level of play.

Babybay and dicey topped the scoreboards for the majority of the first qualifier, and FaZe Clan is looking increasingly dangerous as they continue to improve.

All eyes will also be onTSM, another roster that seems to have finally found the pieces it needed inAnthony “gMd” GuimondandJohann “seven” Hernandez. They qualified on their first try, only dropping a series to FaZe Clan.

Another contender to keep an eye on isNRG Esports, who look revitalized after the star addition ofEthan “Ethan” Arnold. The team already looks in sync, despite only adding Ethan in late April.

Finally, juggernauts like Masters Reykjavik 2022 championsOpTic Gaming,The Guard,andCloud9will be looking to re-establish their position at the top of North American Valorant.

It’s looking like anyone’s game at the moment, and the North American region has never been more competitive.

Here’s a full list of all the qualified teams in the VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers Main Event. The teams have also beendivided into two groups of six, where teams in each group will play each other once in a round robin format.
