Alliance is the fourth team to qualify for the ONE Esports Singapore Major

Alliance has secured the second European region spot for theONE Esports Singapore Major.
Alliance moves straight into the Singapore Major’s group stage after their second-place finish in the DPC Europe upper division with a 5-2 record. Alliance secured their spot into the Major when they defeated Team Liquid in the final week of the first season.
After losing their opening match in the first week of the DPC EU upper division, Alliance bounced back by defeating OG, High Coast Esports, Tundra Esports, Vikin.gg and Team Liquid. Alliance currently holds a 5-2 record after their loss to Team Secret in week four.
Considering that Alliance is competing in the most cutthroat region in professional Dota 2, they have done well for themselves during the DPC hiatus in 2020. Alliance was the runner-up of ESL One Birmingham 2020 and OGA Dota PIT Season 2, along with finishing first place in the EPIC League Season 2 Division 2.
Alliance also went through a significant roster shuffle last year when theteam parted ways with Neta “33” Shapira and Adrian “Fata” Trinks.This allowed for thereturn of former Alliance player and TI3 champion Gustav “s4” Magnusson. Alliance would then complete their roster with theaddition of former Gambit Esports member Artsiom “fng” Barshakas the team’s position 5 support player.

Alliance’s updated roster has shown it’s still one of the best teams in the European region. The team and its new members are able to synergize right when they need to the most under s4’s leadership. Alliance’s midlaner, Linus “Limmp” Blomdin, for one, has stepped up as a top performer in theupper division with a KDA average of 6.32.

After Alliance’s win, only one spot for theONE Esports Singapore Majorremains. This leaves OG a chance to take the final spot if they manage to upset the undefeated Team Secret squad in the very final match of the first season.
