A promotional video was also released alongside the poster, showing Loid introducing Anya to the Mission Impossible franchise.

Anya then sits down and watches the Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One trailer with Bond, Loid, and Yor. Loid starts thinking about its plot, which Anya can hear because of her telepathic ability.

Anya is confused by Mission Impossible’s backstory but gets intrigued with Ethan Hunt, Tom Cruises’ character in the series. She then compares Ethan to Bondman, the main character in Spy Wars, her favorite cartoon TV series.

Loid notices that Ethan can escape dangerous situations because of his latest spy tech. The Spy x Family super agent believes Ethan’s gadgets would be useful for him, too, and wonders if his associate, Franky Franklin, could get him the same gear.

Yor suddenly says out loud that Ethan seems capable, just like Loid. Anya, who is so absorbed with the trailer and Loid’s thoughts, nearly slips up and reveals that Loid is a spy.

Anya stops before Loid can notice and changes the conversation by shouting, “Anya would like spy merch, please!”

Loid then explains how having a lot of handy gadgets and a trusted team is vital for spy missions and introduces Ethan’s team in the movie.

The last part of the crossover video features a short Spy x Family Code White teaser trailer. Spy x Family’s first theatrical release is set to hit theaters across Japan on December 22, and it will feature an original plot that isn’t adapted from the manga.

Instead, Spy x Family creator Tatsuya Endo had worked with Wit Studio and CloverWorks to create new characters for the movie.

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One will hit Japanese cinemas on July 21.
