Blacklist International pull off an amazing comeback to seize MPL PH S7 crown

Blacklist International capped off a dominant season with a massive win against Execration in the grand final showdown to claim theMobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional LeaguePH Season 7 crown.
Down 1-3, Blacklist International fought through thick and thin to win three straight games in the best-of-seven series to win the organization’s first-ever trophy since Season 5.
Blacklist International’s comeback series
Execration managed to find a way to shut down Blacklist International’snice one, baby strategyin the first half of the series, which gave them the 3-1 lead.
Back against the wall, the black and white squad decided to bring out something new in game five with a surprising Faramis pick for Mark Jayson “ESON” Gerardo.
It turned out to be a successful gamble, as Blacklist International went on to win the game in dominating fashion.
Blacklist International went on to flawlessly tie the series in game six thanks to the signature picks of Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario’sGrangerand Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna’s Estes, both of whom finished with a KDA of 4/0/7 and 1/0/9 respectively.

The black and white squad went back to their roots and drafted anothertwo-support compositioncomprising Wise’s Aldous, OhMyV33nus’ Estes, and ESON’s Rafaela.
Execration on the other hand, opted for a straightforward anti-sustain lineup with Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog’s Hylos, Duane “Kelra” Pillas’Lunox, and Kiel Vj “Kielvj” Hernandez’Ling.
Blacklist ended up taking the lead from early to mid game. Downing all of Execration’s towers at the 13-minute mark, Blacklist went on to a secure Lord.
Though they tried to finish the game early, they were unsuccessful, and Kelra nabbed his first savage this season in denying the quick win.
Blacklist International however, managed to catch Kelra near the Lord pit at the 17-minute mark, which prompted the squad to immediately push towards Execration’s base with the numbers advantage, completing their miraculous comeback.
With the win, Blacklist International takes home US$25,000, while second place Execration receives US$13,000.
Both teams will also represent the country for the upcomingMobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup(MSC) that begins on June 7.
