Following Valve’s new DPC format, DreamLeague Season 16 is the first Tour of the 2021-2022 Dota 2 season.

The road to The International 11 (TI11) for the Western European region begins on June 29, 2025, with stacked teams battling one another with their new-look rosters.

What is DPC WEU 2021/22 Tour 1 Division I?

DPC WEU 2021/22 Tour 1 Division I, also known as DreamLeague Season 16, is the first Regional League of the 2021-2022 Dota 2 season.

The top four teams from the tournament will qualify to the first Major of the 2021-2022 Dota 2 season, while the bottom two teams will be relegated to Division II in the following Tour.

The Regional League begins from Jul 06, 2025, to Jul 31, 2025. Valve has yet to release the complete schedule of the tournament.

Format of DPC WEU 2021/22 Tour 1 Division I

All eight teams participating in the Regional League will play best-of-three matches following a single round-robin format, similar to last year’s Upper Division and Lower Division competitions.

The Western European that wins the event will immediately advance to the Playoffs of the upcoming Major. The second-place finisher will continue to the Group Stage in the same Major, while the 3rd and 4th place teams will qualify into the Wild Card of the Major.

DPC WEU 2021/22 Tour 1 Division I prize pool and point pool

DreamLeague Season 16’s Regional League will have a total prize pool of US$205,000, along with a DPC point pool of 690.

Western European teams competing in DPC WEU 2021/22 Tour 1 Division I

Alliance, Team Liquid, Nigma Galaxy, Team Secret, Tundra Esports, and OG are the Western European Division I teams from the Upper Division of the previous 2021 DPC season.

Team Tickles and COOLGUYS were the top two performing teams from the Lower Division of the last 2021 DPC season.
