EVOS Legends remove star EXP laner from roster ahead of MPL ID Season 10
The end of an era.
Veteran EXP lanerMaxhill “Antimage” Leonardowill not be playing at Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia Season 10 (MPL ID Season 10), EVOS Legends announced on itsFacebook pageon Saturday, July 23.
The roster shake-up comes a week after head coachBjorn “Zeys” Ongteased that the organization will undergo a massive overhaul this season after the team’s failure to secure a championship in Season 8 and 9.
The organization also announced that EVOS Legends’ substitute roamer, who last played for EVOS Icon in MDL Season 5,Joshua “LJ” Darmansyah, won’t be on the team next season.

While the two will not be on the roster going into the tenth season of MPL ID, EVOS’ VP of Esports Aldean “DeanKT” Tegar clarified in hislivestreamthat they are still part of EVOS, as their contracts have not yet expired.
“There’s no problem if a team is interested in Antimage (or LJ),” he said. “If they want to [switch teams] or focus on Mukbang videos then go ahead.”
After both players were recruited inSeason 7, they immediately made their presence felt after leading EVOS Legends to itssecond league championship. Antimage also won the best EXP laner award that season.
The defending champions finished third at MPL ID Season 8 after they were eliminated byONIC Esportsin the lower bracket final.
LJ was transferred to EVOS Legends’ MDL team, EVOS Icon, during MPL ID Season 9, while Antimage remained on the main roster. Still, the white tigers failed to replicate their success after a fourth-place finish in the playoffs.
EVOS Legends has yet to announce its official roster for MPL ID Season 10. Former EVOS Legends player turned content creator Yurino “Donkey” Putra Angkawidjaja candidly revealed in his stream on July 21 the potential starting roster of EVOS, which includes formerONIC PH EXP laner Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera.
