Fnatic parts ways with ChYuan and Deth after TI10
Fnatic is ready for the post TI10 roster shuffle.
Southeast Asian Dota 2 roster Fnatic has parted ways with Ng “ChYuan” Kee Chyuan and Yang “Deth” Wu Heng after the team’sThe International 10(TI10) run.
With the conclusion of the 2021 DPC season, organizations from different regions are going through variations of roster shuffles in preparation for the next Dota 2 season.

Malaysian midlanerChYuanand Singaporean offlanerDethwere instrumental in Fnatic’s TI10 journey.
After finishing 18th in the2021 DPC point standings, the organization had to compete in the stacked Southeast Asia Qualifier to qualify for TI10.
The two talented players helped their organization make an impressive upper bracket run, defeating Omega Esports, OB.Neon, and TNC Predator in the process.
The team proved themselves as one of the best squads in Southeast Asia after pulling off an incredible 3-2 reverse sweep against regional rivals TNC Predator in the grand final ofThe International 10 Southeast Asia Qualifier.
During TI10, the team finished seventh in Group D with a 6-10 record which dropped them to the lower bracket of the playoffs.
Fnatic managed to survive their best-of-one elimination match against North America’sTeam Undying, but was knocked out of the competition by would-beTI10 champions, Team Spirit.
As a result, the team finished in 9th-12th place and took home US$800,400 in prize money at the end of their TI10 run.
Fnatic’s 2021 DPC season in a nutshell
The Southeast Asian squad started the season strong, finishing in first place with a 13-4 record in the first season of theDPC SEA Upper Divisionwhich earned them 500 circuit points.
Fnatic then lost footing for the rest of the season after they were quickly eliminated from theONE Esports Singapore Major.
Fnatic continued to struggle in the second season of the DPC SEA upper division after a fourth-place finish, which left them out of theWePlay! AniMajor.
This forced the team to reevaluate their roster, and led toKam “Moon” Boon Sengleaving Fnatic. The move allowed ChYuan to take the midlaner role, and opened up the offlaner position at the same time for Deth.
Deth proved himself as one of the best Dota 2 players in Southeast Asia after savingOB.Neonduring the ONE Esports Singapore Major where they finished in 5th-6th place.

With Dota 2 scene’s post TI10 roster shuffle in full swing, Fnatic will be looking for ways to improve its roster for the upcoming 2022 DPC season.
