Full roster of every team competing in LPL Spring 2023
You should know who they are.

TheLPL regionhad a relatively successful year in 2022 when Royal Never Give Up won MSI for the second time in a row. At Worlds, JD Gaming finished in 3rd-4th place after bowing out in the semifinals.
After another turbulent offseason, LPL Spring 2023 resets the board. Neither RNG nor JDG has retained the same roster, so expect new organizations to rise.
The first match will kick off on June 27, 2025. The season will officially end on March 26.
Here’s the full roster of every team competing in LPL Spring 2023.

Anyone’s Legend
Former Flash Wolves stars Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Chieh and Lu “Betty” Yu-Hung reunite in the bot lane on Anyone’s Legend.
The Worlds 2020 finalist went to TSM in 2021, and spent a year with Weibo Gaming in 2022 before moving over to join Betty to lead this relatively inexperienced roster.
Bilibili Gaming
Competing with JD Gaming since 2018, mid lanerZeng “Yagao” Qileft the nest to join Bilibili Gaming for LPL Spring 2023. He won two domestic titles with JDG and competed at Worlds twice in 2020 and 2022 during his four-year tenure.
Jungler Peng “Xun” Li-Xun was groomed on Invictus Gaming, succeeding on its academy team before earning a starter spot.
Top lanerChen “Bin” Ze-Binneeds no introduction. Clinching second place at Worlds 2020 with Suning, he went on to win MSI 2022 with Royal Never Give Up before trading places with Chen “Breathe” Chen before the start of LPL Summer 2022.
LPL fans will also recognize bot laner Zhao “Elk” Jia-Hao and Support Luo “ON” Wen-Jun. Elk made a name for himself on Team WE. He played for Ultra Prime in 2022 before moving over to Bilibili Gaming, while ON had previously filled SwordArt’s shoes on Weibo Gaming.
Edward Gaming
After two years of sticking with the same Worlds 2021 winning roster,Edward Gamingfinally hit the F5 button.
Only two players from the championship squad remain: Jungler Zhao “Jiejie” Li-Jie and veteran support Tian “Meiko” Ye.
Veteran mid laner Chu “FoFo” Chun-Lan, formerly from Bilibili Gaming, and former LNG top laner Hu “Ale” Jia-Le have also joined the team. Lee “Fisher” Jeong-tae and Hu “Leave” Hong-Chao were promoted from EDG academy.
FunPlus Phoenix
Bot laner Lin “Lwx” Wei-Xiang from FunPlus Phoenix’s Worlds 2019 championship-winning squad stays on.
Jungler Yang “H4cker” Zhi-Hao was previously on Ultra Prime.
Qian “Xingye” Ze, Dang “Lele” Bo-Lin, and He “haoye” Wen-Hao were promoted from FPX’s academy team. Ping “Xiaolaohu” Xiao-Hu and Yang “Care” Jie, who were promoted the year before, are fellow homegrown talents.
Invictus Gaming
If there’s one player you should look out for this season, it’s 18-year-old top laner Chau “YSKM” Shu Tak — which stands for “You Should Know Me” — whom some fans have already dubbed “The second coming of TheShy.” He is most fond of playing Fiora, Camille, Irelia, and Jax. Sound familiar?
From iG Young, the organization’s academy team, he joined Frank Esports in the PCS for half a year in 2022 and is now back in the LPL.
Former bot laner Zhang “Wink” Rui role swapped to support since LPL Summer 2022, while Zhao “neny” Zhi-Hao and An “Ahn” Shan-Ye continue in the top lane and bot lane respectively.
Former KT Rolster substitute jungler Kim “GIDEON” Min-seong, a 19-year-old from South Korea, joined with mid laner Kim “Dove” Jae-yeon, who competed with Liiv SANDBOX, KT Rolster, and SANDBOX Gaming in previous years.
JD Gaming
Big names have joined JD Gaming for the 2023 season. Former Gen.G superstarPark “Ruler” Jae-hyuk, who finished in 3rd-4th place at Worlds 2022, makes his debut in the Chinese league.
From rival team Top Esports, mid laner Zhuo “knight” Ding has also moved over.
Staples Lou “Missing” Yun-Feng,Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok, andBai “369” Jia-Haoare still on the team, led by long-standing head coachYoon “Homme” Sung-young.
LGD Gaming
LGD Gaming is filled with fresh faces this year.
Mid laners Zhang “haichao” Hai-Chao and Zheng “xqw” Xia-Jian, and bot laner Huang “Lpc” Hao hail from the academy league.
They are led by jungler Zeng “Meteor” Guo-Hao, previously from Bilibili Gaming, and the most experienced 24-year-old support, Xie “Jinjiao” Jin-Shan.
LNG Esports
After six years with Edward Gaming, Worlds 2021 champion Lee “Scout” Ye-chan has joined LNG Esports.
The organization managed to retain star jungler Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong for another year.
Former Invictus Gaming players Tang “Zika” Hua-Yu and Zhang “Yuekai” Yue-Kai, both of whom produced some sick mechanical highlights last season, are teaming up with the veterans.
Bot laner Li “LP” Fei was promoted from LNG’s academy team.
Ninjas in Pyjamas(former Victory Five)
Previously known as Victory Five, the organization has been acquired by Swedish-based esports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Former Victory Five top laner Lee “Rich” Jae-won, Li “Invincible” Xiao-Bing, mid laner Tan “Dream” Wen-Xiang, jungler Li “XLB” Xiao-Long, bot laner Ying “Photic” Qi-Shen, and support Wang “Zhuo” Xu-Zhuo will continue competing together under the new banner.
Former star mid laner Song “Rookie” Eui-jin left the team to join Top Esports. Hung “Karsa” Hao-Hsuan signed with Weibo Gaming, while Guo “ppgod” Pe left for Oh My God.
Oh My God
Oh My God largely retained their roster from the previous season, with the addition of support player Guo “ppgod” Peng who joined from Victory Five.
Rare Atom
There are two new faces on Rare Atom for LPL Spring 2023 — bot laner Zou “Assum” Wei, who was previously on LGD Gaming, and Su “Southwind” Zhi-Lin, former ThunderTalk Gaming and Invictus Gaming support.
Royal Never Give Up
The Royal Never Give Up of old is no more. Legendary mid lanerLi “Xiaohu” Yuan-Hao, who grew up with the organization since 2015, is now with Weibo Gaming.
Support Shi “Ming” Sen-Ming, whose name is frequently mentioned alongside RNG andJian “Uzi” Zi-Hao, initially left during the offseason, but rejoined in February 2023. Support Liu “Bunny” Wen-Kang, who started in January, has been moved to academy.
The only three players remaining from the MSI 2021 and MSI 2022 winning team are junglerYan “Wei” Yang-Wei, bot laner Chen “GALA” Wei, and Ming.
Chen “Breathe” Chen traded places with Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin from Bilibili Gaming in the second half of last year. Worlds 2020 finalist, Xiang “Angel” Tao, joined from Weibo Gaming, while support Liu “Bunny” Wen-Kang was promoted from RNG’s academy squad.
Team WE
Worlds 2022 top four finisher Wang “Hope” Jie left JD Gaming and is now with Team WE. He will be supported by Liao “Iwandy” Ding-Yang, who previously played for LNG Esports.
Jungler Yang “Heng” Cui-Heng joined from challenger team Young Miracles.
The rest of the roster has been retained from the 2022 season.
ThunderTalk Gaming
Two new players have joined ThunderTalk Gaming.
Part of the Suning Worlds 2020 roster, bot lanerTang “huanfeng” Huan-Fengparted ways Weibo Gaming during the offseason to join TT. Li “XinLiu” Tan-Pan-Ao was a substitute support on Invictus Gaming.
Top Esports
Song “Rookie” Eui-jinandYu “JackeyLove” Wen-Boon the same team? Now where have I seen that before? The last time they competed together was 1,171 days ago on Invictus Gaming at Worlds 2019.
Zhuo “knight” Ding went over to rival team JD Gaming, which opened a spot for Rookie to enter. The rest of the Top Esports squad will reprise their roles in the new season.
Ultra Prime
After spending an entertaining year co-streaming LPL matches, former Invictus Gaming jungler Gao “Ning” Zhen-Ning is back in pro play, this time with Ultra Prime. He reunites with fellow Worlds 2018 champion, support Wang “Baolan” Liu-Yi, who has also returned from a year-long break.
Fans can also look forward to Chiu “Doggo” Tzu-Chuan’s performance, the former bot laner from Bilibili Gaming.
Weibo Gaming
Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok,Hung “Karsa” Hao-Hsuan, and Li “Xiaohu” Yuan-Hao on one team? Who would’ve thought?
In one of the biggest roster shakeups this season, Weibo Gaming will have an interesting mix of veteran players and playstyles to contend with.
Joining the superstars are former LNG Esports bot laner Wang “Light” Guang-Yu and Worlds 2019 champion, support Liu “Crisp” Qing-Song.
