MENA esports organization Galaxy Racer is hosting the AED 1 million (US$272,000) LAN event,Gamers Galaxy Dota 2 Invitational Series Dubai 2022, from March 2 to 6.
Featuring nine of the best teams in the world, the Dubai Invitational will be the first major tournament playedon the new Dota 2 patch, 7.31b.

The group stage and play-ins will take place on March 2 and 3. The playoffs begin March 4, and end on March 6.

Virtus Prowas initially invited as part of the ten-team roster, but was removed from the tournament.
Format of the tournament
Teams are split into two groups of five, playing a best-of-one round-robin.
The top two teams will be seeded directly into the upper bracket. The third and fourth teams will play an additional best-of-three, and the winners will start the playoffs in the lower bracket. The last-place team will be eliminated.
All playoff matches are best-of-three. The grand finals will be a best-of-five.
