Every team that has qualified for the LA Major
With the Closed Qualifiers now complete for every region except China (which were postponed due to COVID-19) we know now 12 of the 16 teams that will be competing at the ESL One LA Major.

Two more teams will qualify from the China Closed Qualifiers, which take place this week, while the final spot will go to the winner of the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor in Kiev.
Team Secret acquires Vietnamese LoL roster
Team Secret has acquiredLeague of Legends Vietnam Championship Series (VCS) team, Lowkey Esports.
Last year, the squad finished second in the VCS Summer Playoffs, and fell just short of a spot in the Main Event at Worlds, getting knocked out by Korean team, Damwon Gaming, in the knockout stage of the Play-In tournament.
Secret will take over Lowkey Esports’ slot in the VCS, with no changes to the ten main players or coaching staff.
The team is currently tied for fourth in the VCS Spring Split, with a 2-1 record.
RRQ Hoshi sweep EVOS Legends in MPL ID S5’s opening weekend
The marquee match of MPL ID Season 5’sopening weekend saw reigning champions, EVOS Legends take on RRQ, in a rematch of the M1 World Championship grand finals.
RRQ looked eager to avenge their loss in the M1 grand finals and took control of game one from the start. On the other hand, EVOS, who only retained star players, Gustian “Rekt” and Muhammad “Wann” Ridwan, from their World Championship squad, struggled throughout.
Despite trailing from the start, EVOS put up a good fight in game one, and RRQ needed 25 minutes to finally put them away with a final score of 33-26. However, RRQ increased the pressure in game two, and dominated throughout, ending the game with a 19 -11 score in just 15 minutes.
Afreeca Freecs and Gen.G top the LCK
Week one of League of Legends Champions Koreahas wrapped up with Afreeca Freecs and Gen.G getting off to hot 2-0 starts.
Afreeca Freecs started the week by sweeping Griffin 2-0, and then finished week one with an incredible come from behind 2-1 victory over Hanwha Life Esports.
Gen.G had trouble against KT Rolster in their first game, narrowly escaping with a 2-1 victory, but then steamrolled Griffin in their second game with an easy 2-0.
Dragon X sits right behind the leaders with a 2-0 record, but dropped games in both of their matches put them in second place.
Fan favorites T1 are currently in a four-way-tie for third place with Hanwha Life, Damwon, and SANDBOX, while KT Rolster, APK Prince, and Griffin are at the bottom of the leaderboard.
