Hong Kong player Yeh “Hotdog29” Man Hooutlasted all competitors to win his first-ever Capcom Pro Tour (CPT) Premier eventby Japanese newcomer and one of the remaining Zangief specialists, Kichipa-Mu, in a thrilling best-of-three Grand Final match with his M. Bison.
He took home 700 points and US$7,000 and is now ranked ninth in the CPT. Hotdog29 ended his final round in style, taking advantage of Kichipa-Mu’s defensive style by trapping and dismantling his opponent for a Perfect K.O.
Razer CEO pledges S$10 million to Singapore esports
Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan and Singapore native haspledged to commit S$10 million (US$7.25 million)over the next year to the gaming and esports scene in his home country.
The funding will go towards supporting esports teams in Singapore and investing in gaming and esports companies that are either in Singapore or founded by Singaporeans, Tan said in an announcement onFacebook.
“I’d like to give back and do more for gaming in Singapore,” said Tan.
