Later this month, 16 countries will cross swords in the Land of Dawn for glory and the largest share of the US$100,000 prize pool.
The 15th International Esports Federation World Esports Championships (IESF 2023 WEC) will put the bestMobile Legends: Bang Bangteams on display. The tournament will be held in Iași, Romania from August 29 to September 3.

What is the IESF 2023 World Esports Championship?
The IESF World Esports Championship is an annual multi-game event. Sixteen teams hailing from both MPL and non-MPL regions will lock horns, each vying for a significant portion of the impressive $100,000 prize fund.
This marks the tournament’s second year featuring Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.Team Indonesiawon in front of their home crowd in the previous edition held in Bali.
IESF WEC Mobile Legends tournament format
In the group stage, 16 teams will be split into four groups. They’ll compete in a best-of-three round-robin format.
The top two teams from each group will move on to the playoffs, while the bottom two will be out of the tournament.
In the playoffs, teams compete in a best-of-three double-elimination setup. The ultimate showdown, the grand final, will be a best-of-five match.
