LCK Spring Split 2022: Full roster of every team competing
Is Chovy finally going to win an LCK title?
After a chaotic offseason where every single League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) experienced roster changes, the teams will finally start competing on July 22, 2025.
Every team hopes to exceed expectations this year, but Gen.G and T1 are likely to be the frontrunners.
Here’s the full roster of every LCK team competing in the LCK Spring Split 2022.

DRX
After LCK Summer Split 2021, where they held a 2-16 record and finished in 10th place, the org brought back former bot lanerKim “Deft” Hyuk-kyuand will pair him with ex-DWG KIA and Worlds 2020 winnerCho “BeryL” Geon-hee.
DWG KIA
The Worlds 2021 finalists’ first priority was to replace the retired top lanerKim “Khan” Dong-haby signing Gen.G’s Noh “Burdol” Tae-yoon as well as Yoon “Hoya” Yong-ho from Fredit BRION.
Highly-rated prospects Seo “deokdam” Dae-gil and Kim “Kellin” Hyeong-gyu will also step in as the new bot lane and support in place of Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun and Cho “BeryL” Geon-hee.
With DWG KIA having retained their star jungler and mid laner, they will look to continue their dominance that started in 2020.
Fredit BRION
Former Griffin top laner Choi “Sw0rd” Sung-won and Worlds 2021 attendee Park “Morgan” Gi-tae will join Fredit BRION after Yoon “Hoya” Yong-ho left for DWG KIA.
Gen.G
Those who thought Gen.G could not possibly top Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong’s signing would have been surprised atJeong “Chovy” Ji-hoonjoining the team for the LCK Spring Split 2022
Former Griffin players Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon and Son “Lehends” Si-woo, along with LGD jungler Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, round out the super roster that retained bot laner Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk.
Hanwha Life Esports
Coming up with replacements for Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon and Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu was always going to be a tall order.
Hanwha Life Esports has signed Kim “Karis” Hong-jo and Lee “SamD” Jae-hoon as replacements. Kim “OnFleek” Jang-gyeom also joins as a substitute jungler to complement Kim “Willer” Jeong-hyeon.
KT Rolster
After impressing at international events in 2021, mid lanerLee “Aria” Ga-eulreturned to Korea to join a revamped KT Rolster for the LCK Spring Split 2022.
Other notable acquisitions include ex-T1 jungler Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan as well as top laner Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee, and support Kim “Life” Jeong-min, who arrived from Gen.G.
Kwangdong Freecs
Choi “Ellim” El-lim, who spent several years in T1, also joins as their jungler for the LCK Spring Split 2022.
Liiv SANDBOX
AfterPark “Summit” Woo-tae joined Cloud9, Liiv SANDBOX brought the roleswapping former mid laner Kim “Dove” Jae-yeon to the top lane.
The others besides Kim “Croco” Dong-beom and Jeon “Howling” Ho-bin are new signings from the LCK Challengers League.
Nongshim RedForce
Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong is seeking pastures new with Nongshim RedForce after two years with Gen.G. He’s joined by top laner Kim “Canna” Chang-dong from T1, as well as DWG KIA’s Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun
Rounding up the completely new roster is jungler Lee “Dread” Jin-hyeok.
T1
With Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong and Choi “Zeus” Woo-je finally promoted to the starting roster, fans are eagerly anticipating a possible new dynasty for T1 in the LCK Spring Split 2022.
Of course, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok remains, and is now the undisputed starter in 2022. The youthful roster will certainly look towards him for guidance and support.
