The strongest Pokemon UNITE teams in Asia right now!

After a five month long competitive break, Pokémon UNITE is officially kicking off the new year with the all-new Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League.

The first league of its kind, it will showcase teams from East Asia, Southeast Asia, and India. The regional leagues will begin online, and then end with the live offline playoff in Kuala Lupur, Malaysia.

What is the Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023?

The Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League is the first-ever Pokémon UNITE invitational league targeting the Asia region.

15 of the best teams from East Asia, Southeast Asia, and India are invited to compete for a piece of the US$86,000 prize pool and the title of best Pokémon UNITE team in Asia.

Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023 format

The tournament is split into two phases: the regular season and the finals.

In the regular season, teams are split into their respective regional groups. In these groups, teams play a best-of-three, single round-robin format.

Upon completion of the round-robin, teams will then play a single-elimination regional playoff. The top two teams from each regional league will be flown to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the offline finals.

For the finals, the top six teams will be split into two groups and play a best-of-three, single round-robin format.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the final stage, where they’ll compete in a best-of-five single elimination bracket until a champion is crowned.
