Sentinels reportedly to sign world champions Sacy, pANcada, release dapr

Sentinels could soon be signing formerValorant Champions 2022 winnersGustavo “Sacy” Rossi and Bryan “pANcada” Luna, according toDot Esports’ George Geddes.

After securing a partnership spot in Riot Games’ VCT 2023 season, the North American organization has been hard at work building a top roster for the upcoming Americas league.

The news came after the organization officially signed new coachesDon “SyykoNT” Muir and Adam “kaplan” Kaplan, along with former XSET superstarZachary “zekken” Patrone.

To make way for the newcomers, Sentinels decided to part ways with the team’s first members,Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khanand Michael “dapr” Gulino. The two formerMasters Reykjavik 2021 championsare now unrestricted free agents looking to join a new squad for next year.

Sentinels are about to complete its Valorant roster with sacy and pANcada

Sacy and pANcada were integral to LOUD’s perfect playoff run atValorant Champions 2022. The Brazilian superteam surpassed their North American rivals and defeated OpTic Gaming 3-1 in the grand final. The win also earned Brazil its first international Valorant trophy.

LOUD’s captain and in-game leaderMatias “Saadhak” Delipetrohinted on October 7 that the Valorant world champions were going their separate ways when he tweeted one word — “disband.”

The two Brazilian stars are set to team up with in-game leader Rory “dephh” Jackson and zekken, with the latter officially joining the roster on October 6.

Valorant superstarTyson “TenZ” Ngois also reported to rejoin Sentinels. However, the deal is yet to be finalized. TenZ’s contract with the organization is set to conclude at the end of the year.

Sacy and pANcada will most likely continue to play the initiator and controller roles, respectively. Meanwhile, zekken is expected to be the team’s duelist main and dephh will play the flex role when the squad needs an additional initiator or controller agent. TenZ was last seen playing the sentinel role for the team, which he could repeat for next season.

After the reports came out, the team’s sentinel main dapr expressed his availability onTwitter.

“Sentinels have offered me a role as a sub, but have given me the ability to look for a new team as an unrestricted free agent,” said dapr.

Sentinels and LOUD will compete against each other, along with the eight other Americas league teams next year. The two squads will also make their international debuts in February at the30-team kickoff tournament in São Paulo, Brazil.
