T1 Faker is an escape artiste on LeBlanc in 1v3 outplay at MSI 2022

TheLeague of LegendsMid-Season Invitational (MSI 2022)final saw a phenomenal performance fromT1’s Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeokon LeBlanc.
While T1 eventually lost the series 2-3 todefending champions Royal Never Give Up, T1 Faker was an absolute beast in the mid lane, playing the Deceiver in game four against Li “Xiaohu” Yuan-Hao’s Ahri.
With RNG on match point, Xiaohu and his teammates did their best to pin down the T1 mid laner with everything they had, but Faker worked his magic on the mage champion to pull off an unbelievable escape.
T1 Faker’s LeBlanc dodges almost every skill from RNG to make a great escape at MSI 2022
RNG was looking to get ahead early with a three-man gank in the mid lane. Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin’s Camille caught Faker by surprise by Hookshotting into the lane and anchoring him down with Hextech Ultimatum.
But right before Camille’s ultimate landed, the T1 mid laner dashed back with Distortion to bring the fight closer to his turret.
While things looked bleak for Faker as two more RNG players joined the fight, he kept his cool and put on a masterful display of evasive maneuvers.
He first landed an Ethereal Chain on Camille and miraculously sidestepped the Everfrost root from Xiaohu’s Ahri. Working off the Hextech Ultimatum, Xiaohu and Shi “Ming” Sen-Ming’s Leona went all-out in trying to lock down Faker, casting Zenith Blade, Orb of Deception, and Charm.
However, once Camille was rooted by Ethereal Chain, Faker instantly read the skill shots from Xiaohu and Ming, and flashed to another corner of the Ultimatum, keeping himself alive with only half of his health left.
Knowing that Xiaohu still had two charges of Spirit Rush, Faker preemptively landed a second Ethereal Chain on the RNG mid laner to prevent him from reengaging. With the Ahri player now rooted and Bin taking near-lethal damage from the turret, Faker was able to walk away and recall to safety.
In the 1v3 skirmish, Faker managed to dodge one root, one stun, and one Charm, while also rooting two opponents. Truly, this is why he is called the Unkillable Demon King.
