The best Inferno smokes for A site to dominate T side
Use these smokes to take the A site easily.
Counter-Strike 2 is on the horizon and now’s the time to learn the best Inferno smokes to verify you come in prepared.
Inferno is a classic Counter-Strike map that saw an overhaul with the new iteration. Combining the changes with the removal of the sky boxes has allowed for some new and inventive A site smokes.
For this article, we’ll be showing off the best Inferno smokes according to theCS Tactics YouTube video.
The smokes shown will cover the following positions:
The best part? These can all be thrown some the exact same position in alt-mid.
Where to setup for the best Inferno smokesto take A site
You’ll want to navigate to alt-mid and find the newsstand next to the potted plant, located roughly under the letter E in Tabaccheria.
Line yourself to the middle of it and run into it. From there, you’ll be able to throw every one of the smokes we’re about to go over.
Arch smoke
From the previously mentioned position, you’ll want to line your crosshair up to the dark spot just to the left of the thicker spot in the wire, just about where the gutter drain starts on the roof over balcony.
ensure you don’t line it up with the thick spot, you need to get to the dark speck just to the left of it.
Once line up on that black spot, jump throw your smoke, and it’ll land deep in the arch to prevent any rotators from spotting you.
Library smoke
To get a good deep smoke in the library, you’ll want to do this lineup. The benefit of a deeper smoke, is it fills more of the library and gives them less room to sneak their way out. As soon as they walk out of it, they’ll be coming through the doorway choke point.
You’ll want to line this one up right with the letter S in Casa and move up to the roof beam above it. Line your crosshair up with the tip of that beam and jump throw.
Moto smoke
To smoke off moto, you’ll just move your crosshair a little to the right. Line it up with the letter V in Vigna, move up to the tip of the beam, and hit the jump throw again.
This will fill up moto completely, not letting anyone hold that back arch corner. This can be a great smoke for whether or not you’re trying to wrap to CT spawn or if you’re going up lane.
Lane smoke
The final smoke is all about taking lane control and removing the pit player from the equation.
This one may be your least used, but it can still be a solid play if you’re making a fast site take, no molotov for pit, or if you’re running out of time and can’t clear pit.
To throw the deep lane smoke, you’ll line your crosshair up with the bottom left of the lamp, and then drop your crosshair just a little below. No jump throw is needed, just left-click and let it fly.
