The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang 515 virtual party made staying home a blast

May was an exciting month for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang fans around the world, who celebrated Moonton’s 515 party in a series of online events specially organised for the community.
An annual event that celebrates MLBB’s original launch on May 15 four years ago, this year’s event in Singapore was announced in partnership withPVP Esports, and held fully online due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.
In line with this year’s theme “Game On! Party On!”, fans enjoyed many exciting events, contests, cash prizes, and giveaways. There were in-game missions with exclusive prizes, which included a free hero,Luo Yi, that players received on May 16 when they logged in.
Moonton also released a brand new 515 theme song called “Party Legends” that featured popular MLBB heroes like Guison, Lesley and Harith.
There were also contests with tons of prizes, such as the 515 Photo Challenge, where players submitted a comparison photo showing “before” and “after” images that depicted ways in which the 515 virtual party changed their life.
For the local artists, they conjured up scenes of MLBB heroes celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri in a fan art contest. There was also a creative music competition and a 515 Finger Dance Challenge with a total cash prize of USD2,515.
To further get the community involved, Moonton created free 515 eParty Facebook Profile Frames and exclusive 515 eParty WhatsApp stickers.
The month-long event cumulated to a friendly Team Singapore versus Team Malaysia showmatch featuring MLBB pro players and influencers like ResurgenceSync,ly4ly4ly4, Soloz, and Master Ramen, who came together for an All-Star tournament that was live streamed on Facebook.
PVP Esports hosted another fun showmatch between their 2019 PVP Campus League Champion, Unstable Network, and PVP Ambassadors Asterisk*.
