These stats prove that T1’s newcomers completely exceeded expectations at TI10
T1 holding it down for SEA!
T1 made Southeast Asia proud after winning all their Group B games in the final two days ofThe International 10’s group stage. The team’s 8-0 run propelled them straight to the upper bracket of TI10’s main event.
What’s even more impressive is that T1’s current squad has four members who made their TI debuts at The International 10, proving that they are now a force to be reckoned with on Dota 2’s biggest stage.
T1’s newcomers exceed expectations in their TI10 debuts
T1’s midlaner, Karl “Karl” Baldonivo, shined during the group stage, finishing with the best KDA out of all the players in the tournament at 10.08, according to dotabuff.
The talented Filipino player also topped the kills statistic, averaging 10.58 throughout T1’s 16 games. Additionally, he finished fourth in both GPM (gold-per-minute) and third in XPM (experience-per-minute).
Support players Kenny “Xepher” Deo and Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon also proved their worth at TI10. Xepher had the highest assist average at 17.58 in the first phase of the competition. Whitemon wasn’t far behind, finishing fifth on the assist leaderboard at 15.92 per game.
Carry playerNuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanondid well too, finishing with the eighth highest KDA average of 6.95 in the group stage.
Under the leadership of Carlo “Kuku” Palad, who has been to four TI tournaments, T1 is primed to make a deep run in TI10’s main event. The team finally found their groove after defeating Virtus.pro, Team Aster, Alliance, Team Undying, and Thunder Predator in the group stage.
T1 is set to face the top team and tournament favorites PSG.LGD in the upper bracket of TI10 next.
The two teams will clash on Jun 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. GMT+8. The winning team will be three wins away from lifting Dota 2’s Aegis of the Immortal.
