Who will become the Faker of Wild Rift?

League of Legends: Wild Rift’sesports scene is going full steam ahead. To complete its set of regional qualifiers, Riot Games has officially announced the Wild Rift Champions Korea 2021 (WCK).
Here’s everything you need to know about this Korean Wild Rift tournament, including its schedule, results, format, teams, prize pool, and where to watch.
What is Wild Rift Champions Korea 2021?
The Wild Rift Champions Korea 2021 is a regional qualifier that will determine the team that will advance to this year’sWild Rift World Championship (Wild Rift Worlds 2021).
WCK is the first circuit competition in which Korea’s WR teams will compete for a slot at Wild Rift Worlds.
Wild Rift Champions Korea 2021 schedule, results, and standings
WCK will run for two weeks. It will start on Tuesday, September 7, and will end on Sunday, September 19.

Standings
Playoffs schedule
The top two teams of Group A, GLUK Gaming and T1, and the top two teams of Group B, Rolster Y and Break Frame Graming, have qualified for the playoffs.
Each match will be a best-of-five series, except the grand final which will be a best-of-seven.

Format of the Wild Rift Champions Korea 2021
WCK’s Group Stage will divide four teams into two groups. It will be played in a best-of-three format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Playoffs will be in a single-elimination format where teams will play in best-of-fives.
The Final will be played in a best-of-seven format.
Teams that are competing in Wild Rift Champions Korea 2021
A total of eight teams have qualified for WCK 2021. Three teams were taken from the LCK franchise while the rest were selected from the Wariwari Rumble 2021.
WCK 2021 will offer a total of US$68,000 (KR₩80M).

Aside from the prize money, the winning team will also get a slot for Wild Rift Worlds.
